The first AI copilot for light aircraft.

It can’t act on one. The AI Copilot and the ATC assistant only prepare an action: the new frequency, squawk, waypoint or autopilot target appears on your screen and executes only after you press CONFIRM. Engine data is read-only for the AI under every setting. If a live value is stale or unreliable, the AI reports it as unavailable instead of guessing. Direct voice commands do exactly what you said, show it on the screen, and you override them any time with a touch or the stick. You are, and remain, pilot in command.

Mostly, yes. The EFIS, synthetic vision, terrain and airspace, checklists, autopilot and voice control run offline on the AI Computer in your panel, with offline map and frequency databases. In the current version the AI Copilot and the ATC assistant need a data link (Starlink or GSM); a lighter AI model that runs fully offline is planned for a future update. Live weather, NOTAM updates and SafeSky internet traffic also need a link; without one you keep flying on the last data received, time-stamped so you know how old it is. In the experimental and ultralight category, yes. The installation manual, 2D panel cut-outs and 3D models are free to download. Modules connect over a single CAN bus, screens over Ethernet; no custom wiring loom. Our team supports you remotely during the build. We are building a network of installation partners and will list them here soon; if you prefer a professional installation, write to us and we will recommend one in the meantime.

Third-party COM radios and transponders connect through the Datahub over RS-232, so the cockpit can tune frequencies and set squawk codes by voice or from an ATC transcription. Today we fully support f.u.n.k.e. radios and transponders, and more integrations are in preparation. Interested in a different model? The Schochman cockpit is non-certified avionics for ultralight, LSA and experimental aircraft up to 600 kg, where no third-party certification is required; in the US that includes the experimental category and light-sport aircraft under MOSAIC. We engineer toward DO-178C (DAL B) and DO-254 and design the hardware to DO-160 environmental limits, so a future certified version will not need a redesign.
